Publio (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a web-based publishing platform that allows users to generate and manage websites using natural language and AI tools.
By using Publio, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Publio.
You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activity under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Abuse the platform
- Engage in illegal or harmful activities
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Publio to:
- Publish illegal content
- Publish harmful, defamatory, or abusive material
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Distribute malware or malicious code
- Misrepresent identity or impersonate others
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion.
Copyright claims: If you believe content on Publio infringes your copyright, contact us at hi@cauenapier.com with a description of the content and your claim.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit.
By using Publio, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process
- Store
- Publish
your content solely to provide and improve the service.
You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of your content.
6. AI-Generated Content
Publio uses artificial intelligence systems to generate content.
AI-generated output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and validating generated content before publishing.
7. Payments
Publio offers:
- Free plans
- One-time credit purchases
- Subscription plans
All payments are processed through Paddle as Merchant of Record.
By purchasing, you agree to Paddle’s terms.
Prices may change in the future but will not affect already purchased credits.
8. Refund Policy
- Unused credit packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
- Used credits are non-refundable.
- Subscription fees are non-refundable for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of abuse.
9. Service Availability
We strive to maintain availability but:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- Features may be updated or discontinued at any time.
Users are responsible for backing up their content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Publio is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for:
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Errors in AI-generated content
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.
11. Termination
You may stop using Publio at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Account information (name, email, phone number)
- Website content you submit
- Conversations between users and the AI assistant (including prompts and generated responses)
- Technical usage data (logs, IP address, browser type)
- Payment information (processed by Paddle)
We do not store full payment card details.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide the service
- Improve AI performance and service quality
- Debug errors and investigate issues
- Monitor abuse and enforce Terms
- Maintain security
- Process payments
- Communicate with users
Conversations may be reviewed internally for service improvement, reliability, and abuse prevention.
3. AI Processing
Publio uses third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, to process user prompts and generate responses.
When you use the AI features, your prompts and related content are transmitted to these providers for processing.
Personal data will not be used for AI training without an updated policy and appropriate legal basis.
We rely on our AI providers’ policies regarding data handling and retention.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We do not use tracking cookies or behavioral analytics.
We may collect anonymous visitor counts for internal statistics. No personal data is collected for marketing purposes.
5. Data Sharing
We may share data with:
- Paddle (payment processing)
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- AI service providers (such as OpenAI)
We do not sell personal data.
We do not use your data for advertising.
6. Data Storage
User data is stored on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA).
AI providers may process data outside the EEA in accordance with their data protection commitments and applicable safeguards.
7. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for security, legal, and operational purposes.
Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting hi@cauenapier.com.
Account deletion requests will result in the deletion of personal data unless retention is required by law.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected users as required by law.
9. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccuracies
- Request deletion
- Restrict or object to processing
